Release tracking on Gondor

Release tracking extracts information regarding the current revision of your repository and sends it to Opbeat when you deploy new code to Gondor.

Follow these simple steps to add release tracking to your Gondor project.

1. Get the webhook URL

You can find the webhook URL on Opbeat in your app settings.

App settings

Note: Make sure the “Deployment method” of your app is set to “Gondor”.

2. Add Opbeat as a deploy webhook

In your Gondor dashboard, add Opbeat as a deploy webhook. You can add webhooks in the Admin section of your site.

The Gondor dashboard

The webhook URL for your app can be found in the app settings on Opbeat.

3. Deploy your application to Gondor

First, push your commits to Git

$ git push origin master

Then, deploy to Gondor

$ gondor deploy primary master

Note: We only track releases to “production” instances.
