iPhone app v3.3 out now

We released an update to the iPhone app today, focusing on notifications and a better overall experience.

The Opbeat app is designed to be an integrated part of your team’s workflow. Notifications about what is happening with your webapp are essential part of keeping your team in the loop, so we have worked hard to ensure you are in control of what you get notified about and how.

As part of ongoing work on notifications, three changes are introduced in this update:

  • We have made the badge counts less aggressive. They will now disappear when you check your notifications—even on the web. It has never been easier to get to Notification Inbox Zero.
  • When reviewing error notifications, you will notice that the exception message is shown instead of the culprit.
  • Changes to your notification settings will now save automatically.

As always we have squashed a few small bugs, and we even managed to increase the speed again.

Download the update from the App Store today.

PS: Our Android Beta is not quite ready, but sign up to stay in the loop at opbeat.com/android.

Opbeat is now available for Android, more information here.
